From the Desk of the President

We opened for the season on the Memorial Day weekend. Our exhibits are being put together and more items are coming in. We will be open from 10:00 AM till 2:00 PM on Fridays and Saturdays. There will be other open hours during special events and if someone is working there. July 1st is the "Big day", our Grand Opening. We hope to have representatives from other Historical Societies present as wit as other guests. Larry Peterson and Joe Carlson from the radio show "Pages of the Past" will be there. Joe may also have copies of his new book "The Murder of Andrew Sigleravailable. Stop in to meet them in person. We will be open during the 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM hours all week. Be sure to check out our gift corner. It is stocked with beautiful hand made items which make wonderful gifts. Of course you can buy several for yourself also. All proceeds go to the Historical Society. Come join us for this, the official opening of the Heritage Center.
